what kind of temperature reduction can be expected if I where to coat my exhaust ?

You can expect approximately 30% reduction in radiated heat from a coated part

 

Will coating my headers make them last longer?

Yes, you can expect your headers to last 2-10 times longer than if they were left uncoated.

 

Will my slip fit parts still fit back together after they are coated?

Yes, your parts will still go back together ceramic coatings are a very thin film (.001"-.0015")

 

Do I need to mask threads before coating?

Your ability to bolt your threaded parts back together will not be affected

 

Can I coat my used parts and do I need to clean them before sending them to be coated?

Yes, your used parts can be coated. You will need to disassemble and do your best to degrease your parts before sending them for coating.

 

What metals can you coat?

We can coat pretty much any metal that can withstand the cure temperature (500f) galvanized and magnesium parts can not be done.

 

What length can you coat?

6ft is the longest length we are capable of coating
