The Procedure

Step 1

A pair of headers has been dropped off to be coated. This is how they look when we receive them.

Step 2 Begin Blasting

New and used parts are first media blasted, then pre-baked to burn off any residual oils that may be impregnated under the surface. Your expensive headers left uncoated are vulnerable to rust and corrosion, causing them to deteriorate quickly. New and used parts can be effectively coated. Ceramic coating your parts will save you the cost of replacing them in the near future.

Step 3 Blasted and ready for coatingAfter being blasted, and baked, your parts are then coated inside and out with our CermaKrome or another ceramic metallic coating of your choice.
Step 4 Polishing
One final high temperature bake to cure the coating and your parts go through our automated polishing process in our vibratory finisher, followed by a hand polish to further enhance the luster. Now that's a header!

Simply wash with soap and water from time to time with maybe a little aluminum polish to keep that beautiful shine! Keep all your toys looking like winners!
